Our day use hunting permit allows us to hunt our entire surrounding area for six species of big game. Whether your chosen quarry is bighorn sheep, moose, elk, mule deer, whitetail, or antelope we can guide you to the realization of your western dreams. All of our hunting takes place in breathtakingly scenic landscape. Some of the game resides in the high alpine, mountainous terrain, some in the sagebrush covered rolling hills of the badlands, and some in the willow choked valleys. Some of our hunting is done under warm sunny skies, and some days well be tracking animals in a foot of snow. No matter the season, the surroundings, or the species, we absolutely love what we do, and the only thing we love more than hunting is the ability to share the sport with others. We base all of our hunts from the town of Dubois, a small town in Northwestern We cater to the needs and desires of the client. If you dont feel like hunting from horses, or hiking, we can use a truck to hunt the areas that are vehicle accessible. Lodging and meal accommodations can be tailored to fit your needs and desires. We are blessed to live in an area where the game is plentiful, and there are some excellent opportunities to harvest your western trophy. We will not pressure you to squeeze that We use only the best knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced guides and horses, who have been all over these mountains in search of game. However, we consider our hunts more than just the pursuit of a trophy. We think of it as an opportunity to share our beautiful areas with you. We want your hunt be as enjoyable, rewarding, and memorable as possible. All you need to bring is your rifle, license, gear, and desire. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments or just to talk. We look forward to Suggested Gear List: Wyoming statute requires that rifle hunters wear at least one fluorescent orange garment, and purchase a Conservation Stamp before hunting. We recommend a light fabric vest that can be worn over a coat or other clothes. As your trunk is the part of you that moves least this is the best place for orange, as opposed to a hat which is always moving, and always visible to whatever you are looking at. Tips to Make Your Hunt More Enjoyable: We recommend that as much of your clothing as possible, is either wool or waterproof. Wyoming is famous for its sudden and drastic changes in weather, and its best to be prepared for anything. However, it is also very important that your clothing is soft and quiet, the worst sound in the world for an animal to hear is pine needles or a branch brushing across a coat or pants with a plastic or nylon shell. Plastic pants also make a swishing sound when trying to walk. |
